This IDE drive interface support high bandwidth, very fast speed (about 30 times faster than PATA).
Gradually being implemented to compete with fellow IDE interface (PATA (parallel ATA)) from 2003.
It uses thinner cable to allow better cooling in the system case, the cable lenght is 39.4inches (one meter).
It uses a different connector from the one used for PATA, and its power connector differ from PATA connector.
Pricing is presently N7,000 - N8,500
