As a member of the Management Internal control Unit, the individual would be responsible for:
Assisting in the planning phase of assigned segment s of an audit.
Assisting in the process of evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Executing detailed audit procedures, including reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports, policies and procedures for accuracy and effectiveness.
Preparing work papers which record and summarize audit procedures performed.
Assisting in developing recommendations for corrective action/improvement.
Providing assistance to external auditors as requested.
The Candidate must have a first degree in Accounting, with at least 3 years working experience in an audit firm. Possession of ICAN would be an added advantage.
Interested individuals must also have a good knowledge of the Financial Services Industry.
