The successful candidate should be an entrepreneurial team player able to provide fundamental investment analysis, research and market analysis on Nigerian companies, markets and sectors covering various asset classes.
Responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research and valuation of Nigerian companies as well as;
Maintaining industry sector information and analysis.
Making buy and sell recommendations.
Participating in market meetings.
Portfolio modeling, construction and analysis.
Executing transactions; and
Supervising support staff.
The candidate must possess a first degree as well as a professional numerate qualification. a post graduate degree would be an added advantage. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a similar environment and must be familiar with bond & money market analysis, pricing and economic analysis. The individual must be already studying or willing to study for the CFA exams.
